You can delete your Moonsong account and its data at any time, directly in the app.
Delete in the app
- Open Moonsong and go to Profile → Privacy & data.
- Tap Delete account. If you haven't signed in recently, the app asks you to confirm with a new email code or link first.
- Read the summary and confirm.
Before you delete, export any songs, covers or lyrics you want to keep. Deletion can't be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your account, email address, display name and sessions (you're signed out everywhere).
- All projects: lyrics, revision history, song briefs, notes, generated songs, clips and covers.
- Your credit balance, including paid credits.
- Generations that haven't been sent to a provider yet are cancelled. If a generation was already in progress, its result is discarded.
How long it takes
Your data is removed from our active systems within 7 days and from backups within 30 days.
We keep a minimal, separate record of purchases, credit grants and refunds for as long as accounting law and fraud prevention require. It isn't used for anything else. AI providers may keep request data for a limited time under their own safety and retention policies. Files you've exported to your devices are not affected.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions, ideally before deleting your account. Deleting the app from your phone doesn't delete your account either.
Can't open the app?
Email support@sansavision.com from the email address of your Moonsong account with the subject "Delete my Moonsong account". We'll confirm the request with you by email and then delete the account on the same timeline. We never ask for your sign-in code or link.
